 Boston Baby Dolls, an amateur series, is the first product line from RSK Distributors, the Baltimore-based wholesaler owned by Russ Katz. Shot by John Ferguson of Boston Alternative Media, a publisher who moonlights in video, it features true amateur girls from the New England area. Katz met Ferguson at the Adult Entertainment Expo in January. He was looking to pick up some lines for exclusive distribution "something a little unique and different" and Boston Baby Dolls filled the bill. The two got the deal up and running about four months ago. Two volumes are now available. "Initially," Katz told AVN.com, "I was going to try to distribute them on my own, as something unique to RSK. But I don't think we're able to move enough pieces alone. We need to open this up and sell them to any distributors that we can. We are in the process right now of calling other distributors and letting them know it's available for them as well." Katz is confident that the line will fill an open niche in the porn market. "There are so few companies putting out good amateur product," he said. "And there's very little product being made with East Coast girls on the East Coast. It really is something that's not available anywhere right now at all" There are ten full movies in the can, most with four scenes, all two hours long. Vol. 3 will go out within a few weeks. Ferguson has been a publisher of adult newspapers and magazines in New England since 1996. Boston Alternative Media prints 25,000 copies a month of the XXX sexpaper Private Games. "Every adult store in New England carries them," he says. He started shooting sex scenes two years ago, as a "natural progression" from shooting stills for his publications. He said he tried to "do as close to real as I could. But also use two, three cameras, edit it, make it look clean. 1st Strike
 1st Strike Entertainment is a studio distributed by Nectar Entertainment. His work on Fresh Asses absolutely convinced me he's the real deal. You can't fake that sort of vision, and we're happy he's working with us," Sean Logan, president of Nectar, said. Jamie Elle, Rachel Luv, Veronica Jett, Tiffany Holliday, Hillary Scott, and Leah Luv are the women featured in Fresh Asses, an anal-themed wall-to-wall title that emphasizes young women that are new to adult. Fresh Asses has a foil box cover, as will all 1st Strike releases. 1st Strike intends to develop a number of niche-orientated gonzo and wall-to-wall series over the course of the year, including at least one interracial series.
